Avery Christmas Party!

Every year, at least for the past three years of living here we have gone to Greg's Avery Dennison Christmas party that they do for the kids. This year Bryson had so much fun! He got to sit on Santa's lap, ride a train (multiple times), and they even give each kid a present! He got a transformer that turns into an airplane and since Bryson loves airplanes so much it was the perfect present! He was one happy kid!

Crafts for Enrichment!

These are a couple of the crafts we will be doing for our Super Saturday in November! They were really easy to make, so hopefully we will have a good turnout for this!

Pumpkin Cupcakes!

These Pumpkin cupcakes are to die for! Literally, if you love pumpkin and cream cheese frosting these babies are for you! These were the treat that I made for our "under the Hood" enrichment night!

Pumpkin Cupcakes
By Martha Stewart

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1 cup packed light-brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pans with paper liners; set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice; set aside.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together, brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter, and eggs. Add dry ingredients, and whisk until smooth. Whisk in pumpkin puree.
3. Divide batter evenly among liners, filling each about halfway. Bake until tops spring back when touched, and a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes, rotating pans once if needed. Transfer to a wire rack; let cool completely.
Cream Cheese Frosting
2 3-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
4-1/2 to 4-3/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
Beat together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually add 2 cups of the powdered sugar, beating well. Gradually beat in enough of the remaining powdered sugar to reach spreading consistency.

It's been Forever!

I know it's been forever since I have posted anything at all! Here is one of my latest crafts that I just finished and Love, so I thought I would share it with all of you!

Frogs and a New Toy!!

Greg's Parents came to visit us a couple of weeks ago and boy did we have so much fun! We took Blaine out to see the John Johnson Farm, and then headed on our way to Amish country, where we had an awesome dinner at Mary Yoder's.

Jane and I found this Jeep at a garage sale for fourty dollars. The guy had just put a new battery in it and just wanted the money he had put into the battery!

Bryson has been driving this thing around every day since!

Before Granma and Grandpa came all Bryson could think about was having his Grandpa find him a frog, and Grandpa pulled through! Bryson was so happy to have a frog to play with for a little bit. It was so cute when we finally let it go Byson kept saying, "bye, bye Froggy

Time out for women!

This year I had the opportunity of going to Time out for women with my good friends Tiffany, and Sheryl. We left on a Friday afternoon and headed down to Cincinnati (it was a 5 hour drive). We had so much fun, it was such an awesome experience. Sherri Dew, Hillary Weekes, and tons of other great speakers were there this year! Seriously, if any of you have a chance to go, GO!!! It is like a spiritual boot camp for women, it reminded me a lot of Efy. Hopefully I will be able to go every year!

Some Cute Pictures!

Bryson right before we are headed to church!
(he looked so adorable so I had to get his picture taken)

Bryson got a four-wheeler from my mom and dad for his birthday and he has been having so much fun riding it all around!

Bryson and his Daddy right before church!

Bryson riding on his horsey! He looked so cute in his new sweater so I had to take some pictures of him before we went to church!
Bryson helping mommy Vacuum, he loves to help!

Bryson Turns 2!

Bryson just celebrated his second Birthday! It's crazy how fast my little baby is growing up! The time certainly has flown by so fast. When Bryson was born and I was getting up every three hours to feed him in the middle of the night I thought the time would never end, and it goes by too fast! Anyway, here are some pictures of his big day!
We want to thank all of our friends and family that helped make Bryson's Birthday so fun!

Four Years!

Tomorrow is going to be our Four Year Anniversary! The time has certainly flown by...I still remember our first date! Things definitely get better as the years go by. The day that I married Greg in the Salt Lake Temple I remember looking at him wondering how I could love him any more than I did at that moment. Looking back I know that my love has done nothing but grow for him!

Since we have been married we have lived in four states, in five different homes, had our first dog, and now have a baby Bryson who is going to be turning two in March!

Greg, I want you to know that you are the love of my life and I don't know where I would be without you! You have been such a support and inspiration in my life. You make me want to be a better person and you have helped, and supported me in following my dreams! Thank you for making me so happy! Cheers to four years and I know there will be many more to come!
